The power is all in this new 32-bit console from Mattel. Thats 32-bits of Hyper Power! It essentially can be described as a cross between trading cards and a video game console.

That is basically what it is. By using RFID technology we can now experience the best of both worlds. RFID stands for "Radio Frequency Identification" and it's already widely used in non-game settings. Tiny RFID chips can transmit data; manufacturers and retailers use them in packaging to track inventory and help prevent theft and counterfeiting.

The HyperScan console allows players to scan RFID-imbedded cards and then play a video game based on the information in those cards. The winner of that video game could then scan his card again -- and that card could be granted new powers. Choose fierce head to head competition with your friends or play alone!
